The Eco-Heroes Art Contest seeks to connect the natural curiosity of students and residents to their passion for the environment and creativity as artists, writers, and craftspeople.

The entry period for the 2024 Eco-Heroes Art Contest is now closed! Please stay tuned for details about the 2024 winning submissions!

Participation in the Eco-Heroes Art Contest is open to all public, private, and home-schooled students in grades K-12, as well as adults (18+) who reside in the City of Bloomington. The theme of the 2024 Eco-Heroes Art Contest is "Drops to Drains: Eco-Heroes Working with the City on Stormwater Strains!” This theme is intended to inform communities about the importance of proper stormwater management. Stormwater impacts the quality and quantity of Bloomington’s water.

The Earth Day awards ceremony was held on Saturday, April 20th where each Eco-Hero was presented with prizes sponsored by local businesses.
